Festivals that have an option to camp is something everyone should try once in their life. People that claim to have gone to a festival without ever camping at one have never gotten the full experience. Camping at a festival with your crew will create an unforgettable experience. The space you create for yourself will quickly be what you call home. Throughout your festival experience, a large majority of your time will be spent at your campsite, so it is important to be prepared.
Here are some tips to keep in mind:
Consider to bring the following.
- Two coolers, one for food and one for drinks. It is easy to underestimate the amount of space you will need.
- An extra tent and patching tape for damaged supplies.
- A 10×10 canopy
- First Aid kit
- Ear plugs for when you’re trying to sleep
- Eye mask for the sun in the mornings
- Lanterns and extra batteries
- Jumper cables
- Speaker
- Mosquito repellent for around the site or in your tent
- One tarp per tent for the elements
- Towels, toilet paper, and paper towels
- Eating utensils
- A small propane grill. It is a life savor
- Dry foods
- Bottled water for washing and drinking
- Enough chairs for everyone
- One or two tables
- Trash bags to keep things green
- Sleeping bag/air mattress
- Extra pillows and blankets
- Make sure you know how to set things up before you leave
